Packetalk Technologies Expands Its Connected Public Safety Ecosystem with New In-Car Mobile ALPR System, Showcasing Integrated Platform at FPCA 2026

LYNDHURST, NJ — July 2026 — Packetalk Technologies, a provider of integrated public safety and smart city solutions, today announced the continued expansion of its connected public safety ecosystem with the introduction of its In-Car Mobile Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) System. The new mobile solution extends Packetalk’s unified platform by bringing real-time license plate recognition directly to patrol vehicles, complementing the company’s portfolio of fixed ALPR, intelligent video surveillance, networking infrastructure, analytics, and situational awareness software.

Packetalk will showcase the expanded ecosystem during the 74th Annual Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA) Summer Conference, taking place July 6–10, 2026, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. Conference attendees are invited to visit Booth #233 for live demonstrations and discussions with Packetalk’s public safety specialists.

Unlike standalone technologies, Packetalk’s platform integrates intelligent cameras, fixed and mobile ALPR, networking infrastructure, analytics, and software into a unified ecosystem that enables agencies to leverage existing investments while expanding capabilities as operational needs evolve.

The addition of the In-Car Mobile ALPR System gives agencies another flexible deployment option, allowing real-time license plate recognition to move with officers in the field. The system supports routine patrol, targeted enforcement initiatives, special events, emergency response, and temporary deployments while remaining fully integrated with Packetalk’s broader platform.

“Today’s public safety challenges require more than individual technologies, they require connected solutions that give agencies the flexibility to adapt as missions evolve,” said Tamer Zakhary, CEO of Packetalk.
“Our new In-Car Mobile ALPR System is the latest addition to an ecosystem designed to help law enforcement agencies connect infrastructure, share intelligence, and improve operational awareness whether they’re supporting routine patrol, regional investigations, or large-scale public events.”

As Florida agencies continue to modernize public safety operations and strengthen regional collaboration, interoperable technology has become increasingly important. Packetalk’s ecosystem is designed to help agencies connect existing infrastructure, expand capabilities over time, and deploy solutions that support both everyday policing and large-scale public safety operations.

Packetalk’s connected ecosystem is already supporting a diverse range of public safety missions nationwide.

In Mercer County, New Jersey, Packetalk’s technology powers one of the state’s most comprehensive countywide public safety ecosystems, connecting more than 500 intelligent public safety devices across multiple municipalities to improve situational awareness, regional collaboration, and operational response.

In Aventura, Florida, the Aventura Police Department uses Packetalk’s platform to integrate hundreds of public and private cameras into a connected public safety network that enhances operational visibility and helps protect critical community locations during high-profile events and the High Holy Days.

Packetalk’s ecosystem has also demonstrated its flexibility during large-scale temporary deployments. During the JCC Maccabi Campus Games in Pittsburgh, the company’s integrated surveillance, networking, and real-time monitoring technologies helped support security operations for nearly 2,000 athletes, along with thousands of coaches, volunteers, families, and visitors attending the international event.

Together, these deployments demonstrate how Packetalk’s ecosystem adapts to multiple public safety missions, from permanent countywide infrastructure and municipal policing to temporary event security and now mobile patrol operations with the addition of the In-Car Mobile ALPR System.

Visitors to Booth #233 at the FPCA Summer Conference will experience live demonstrations of Packetalk’s integrated ecosystem, including the new In-Car Mobile ALPR System, intelligent public safety cameras, fixed and mobile ALPR, networking infrastructure, analytics, and real-time situational awareness software. Packetalk’s team will also be available to discuss how agencies can leverage existing infrastructure to build scalable, interoperable public safety networks that improve operational awareness while maximizing current technology investments.

“Law enforcement agencies aren’t looking for another standalone device, they’re looking for technologies that work together, leverage existing investments, and provide actionable intelligence across jurisdictions,” continued Zakhary.
“That’s the philosophy behind Packetalk’s connected public safety ecosystem. By bringing cameras, ALPR, networking, analytics, and software together on a single platform, we’re helping agencies build technology environments that can evolve alongside their mission.”
